In the heart of the Mediterranean town of Javea, an eighteenth century house, which retains a lot of features of traditional architecture, is opened for exhibitions, workshops, working groups, conferences, concerts, gatherings, exchanges of artists waiting to be part of the cultural and artistic life of the city.
Our project is made up by three main ideas:
* The art should be conceived as a communication between the conscienceless of the creator an the one of the spectator,that's why this space is offered to make a relationship between both of them.
* To obtein their development, the artists need not only their individual work but also the relationship between them and other artist's investigations.
* The connection between the groups tha develop their activity in the cultural way, make them grow.
The AL MARGE poject wants to offer a zone in which create a space of relatonship between the art lovers and the artist, an international forum of aesthetic exchange between creators, and a fixing point between cultural groups.
Notre projet s’organise autour de deux idées fondamentales :
- L’œuvre d’art est une communication entre l’inconscient du créateur et celui du spectateur ; à cet égard, Al Marge constituera un espace favorisant ce type d’interaction.
- Pour atteindre son plein épanouissement, l’artiste a besoin, au-delà de son travail personnel, de développer les contacts avec d’autres artistes ; la mise en relation de groupes développant leur activité dans un environnement culturel sera un moyen d’enrichir ce type d’échanges.
Al Marge se veut lieu de rencontre entre artistes et amoureux de l’art, forum international d’échanges entre créateurs, point de connexion de collectifs culturels.
AL MARGE. art space is managed by the THE NAKED EMPEROR group of art, a team that was born in the autumn of 2010 to create an area of exchange and creativity "at the margin", independently, where the creators develop and expose their works and where people can learn and enjoy about the art.
AL MARGE. espace d'art est géré par le groupe artistique L’EMPEREUR NU, né en automne 2010 pour mettre en place un espace d’échange et de créativité « en marge », indépendant, permettant aux artistes de développer et d’exposer leurs travaux, et à tous d’apprendre l’art et d’en jouir.
I am not conscious of in what moment the art began to form an indissolubly part of my life, think that I have never tried to be an artist, in fact I studied architecture, but providing that I have directed my vital interests to other activities my hands were looking unconsciously for a pencil with which paint a few scrawls or my eyes were moving to the sky to guess forms in the clouds. I have not chosen the creation as vital option, rather the art has chosen me, and in spite of my resistance I have not had another remedy than relaxing and enjoying the art.
Je ne sais pas à quel moment l’art est devenu indissociable de ma vie. Je pense que je n’ai jamais cherché à être un artiste. J’ai étudié l’architecture mais, quand bien même les exigences de la vie me conduisaient vers d’autres activités, mes mains ont toujours recherché un crayon avec lequel griffonner, mes yeux se sont toujours tournés vers le ciel pour y repérer les formes des nuages. Je n’ai pas décidé d’être créateur, c’est l’art qui m’a choisi et, au-delà de toute résistance, il ne me restait plus qu’à me détendre et à profiter.

I grew in an atmosphere of art sensibility, that's why I soon said: I want to be an artist. My father made all kinds of posters, and I copied him. I used to go to expositions, most of them of local artists, but it made me be more sure of being an artist. I studied art and I have been all my life suffering/enjoying painting.
Now as the years have gone, I'm discovering that y also like other things like writing, making pictures or going to the cinema. I love going to the cinema! And of course everything that has a relationship with people, emotions, feelings... the art.
J’ai grandi dans un milieu sensible à l’art et, très rapidement, j’ai voulu être peintre. Mon père concevait des affiches de toutes sortes que je me suis mise à copier. J’allais aux expositions, locales le plus souvent, et toujours se réaffirmait en moi la volonté d’être peintre. J’ai donc suivi des études d’art et toute ma vie, ou presque, a été une alternance de souffrances et de bonheurs que je devais à mon activité picturale.
Aujourd’hui, avec le recul des ans, je découvre que j’aime aussi d’autres choses, comme par exemple l’écriture, la photographie, le cinéma. J’adore aller au cinéma ! J’aime tout ce qui est du domaine de la relation, de l’émotion, du sentiment… de l’art.

Since I was a child I liked painting and drawing, thats why I studied arts, it was the only career that I wanted/could do.
The same fascination for the art in general and particularly the wood as a raw material, made me specialize myself in conservation and ask for a grant in Italy which changed my life. But other ways and my strong spirit made me leave the thing I had been doing for twelve years and I “returned” to my essence: painting, drawing, creating…
And I am happy beacause of it.
I also like travelling and being with people I can learn from.
Aussi loin que je m’en souvienne, j’ai aimé peindre et dessiner. J’ai donc étudié les Beaux Arts : c’était ce que je voulais, ce que je pouvais faire.
Ma fascination pour l’art en général et pour le bois en particulier m’a conduite à me spécialiser dans la conservation et la restauration. J’ai obtenu une bourse d’études en Italie et ma vie en a été changée. Mais d’autres événements, s’ajoutant à mon fort esprit créatif, m’ont fait abandonner cette discipline à laquelle j’ai consacré douze années de ma vie, pour revenir à l’essentiel : la peinture, le dessin, la création… C’est cela qui me rend heureuse.
J’aime également voyager et partager des moments avec tous ceux qui peuvent m’apprendre.
